WBCA Blitz
Friday, July 12, 2002
A very enjoyable time was had by the 18 people who participated in the 6
double-round swiss, WBCA Blitz (Game in 5 minutes) Tournament, at the Chess
Vineyard. First place was shared by Jose Reyes and Eric Baugus who both
scored 9½/12 and took home $55 each. The top Under 1650 prize was shared
by Michael Patraw and Todd Miller. Many thanks to Brad Zentmyer for
controlling the event, Kim Patraw for doing the pairings and to the Chess
Vineyard for being such gracious hosts.
